Why do we always start our seasons in the new year lately?! We performed like we did at that point in the last couple of seasons, from August, we would be miles ahead come May.

Average Age of Starting XI vs City - 23.6.

Thats great. Ageing City squad and with FFP they will struggle to improve their team substantially over the next 5 years. Maybe a better manager is all they need right now though... lucky we have one of them.

Avg age for city was 28.1. We really do have potential for serious growth in the league here when you consider the FFP.

League table from 9th November until present.  Throw a blanket over the top 5, Stoke and Southampton's position are odd.

Remains a good month for the boss.

      His Premier League record for us under Brendan in the month of March is now;

11 wins in 12 games with one defeat at St Mary's.

33 goals, 11 conceded, goal difference of plus 22.

After 6 league games we scored 4 goals which is our fewest ever and tied with 1899/1900 and 2005/06.

Only team in the Premier League to not score more than 1 goal in a game this season.

The last time we conceded a goal and won the game was QPR.

The time before that was City in February.

I thought back then that removing Rafa was a bad bad decision and nothing has made me think otherwise, remember all the fans that thought it was the right thing to do one bad season in 6 and he was gone, I just wish FSG would move as fast with Rogers it's clear he has gone backwards (if that is possible) and leaving him alone may do further damage we have a lot of young players whose confidence is already shaken and getting it back may take a season or two but we need a new guy in as quickly as possible the situation is so bad right now that I would like to see Angeloti and not Klopp, I find the guy more pragmatic and he's a deep thinker of the game where as Klopp wears his heart on his sleeve and maybe for the short term he may do a little better but with Angeloti I think he would lay down a more solid foundation for the future and longer term, a little like Rafa did. One thing most agree on is we need a change and quickly and whoever comes next surely has to be better than what we have, four years and we still wait for an identity of who we are.

Nope. The reference was to the Anfield game when Stevie scored the winner from a corner, and the City game when Coutinho scored the winner after Dzeko equalized.

Actually have we ever come back from a goal down and won a game? I remember the cup games at Bolton and Palace, and also Swanswa at home where we first conceded and then 'came back' to win it. But when was the last time we did that in the league?

I think it was just once last season at Leicester.

Just checked it and even in Swansea game we were 2-0 before they scored their only goal of the match.

Only game i can remember is Fulham away in 13/14 season.Apart from that i don't remember even one game where we made a comeback from losing position and win the game(Under Brendan).

Nah dude. There is a misunderstanding. We played Swansea at home in the Carling Cup. They went ahead and then Mario scored form a Borini cross & Lovren scored in the injury time.

13/14 season was a wonder. We used to score the first goal in the opening 5-15 minutes.

Kenny Dalglish (2nd spell) and Brendan Rodgers both won exactly 50% of their games in charge of Liverpool FC.
