Just realised we've been beaten in the league the 3 times all by teams with English managers. Think I'm right in saying there's currently only 4 in total with Palace the other team before and after the sacking.

42 - The least amount of goals LFC has conceded in the league since Kenny Dalglish's last season 2011/2012.

5th highest goal difference in the last 26 years since Dalglish left.
      5th highest points total
5th highest number of wins in same timespan and joint 3rd lowest number of defeats.

Probably then our 5th best League campaign since 1991, not a great slogan, but you know - top 20%.

From the Echo on last night's 7-0 win over Maribor

1 - Liverpool are the first team to achieve such a margin of victory away from home in the Champions League. The result was also the biggest victory an English club had recorded away from home in European Cup history, and the biggest win of Jürgen Klopp's two-year as manager.

2 - Liverpool are now the joint-holders of the record victory both home and away in the Champions League. They share their 8-0 home win against Besiktas with Real Madrid who won by the same margin against Malmo in 2015.

3 - Liverpool join Marseille and Shakhtar Donetsk as the three teams to have recorded the biggest away victory in the Champions League. Three of Maribor's last four home games in the Champions League have been draws.

4 - The game was only the fourth time in history that an English side had scored four goals in the first half of a Champions League game.

5 - The three points move Klopp's men on to five points in Group E, top alongside Spartak Moscow who beat Sevilla 5-1. Seven goals - five different scorers.

8 - The two goals for Mohamed Salah moves the £36.9m signing onto eight goals for the campaign , two more than closest teammate Roberto Firmino.

9 - As many as four players shared the honour of the ECHO's highest rated player of the evening , with Salah, Coutinho, Firmino and James Milner all graded favourably with a nine out of 10.

10 - The game was Liverpool's biggest European victory since they hammered Besiktas 8-0 at Anfield nearly 10 years ago back in November 2007.

17 - The result was Liverpool's biggest away win in all competitions for 17 years - an 8-0 drubbing of Stoke in the League Cup in November 2000.

1993 - The last time an English side won by seven or more goals in Europe was Arsenal in the Cup Winners Cup 24 years ago.

No team has conceded fewer goals at home or scored more goals away than Liverpool, so far this season.

Liverpool have had two players two sent off in the League cup in the 21st Century.

Both players sent off were in games against Chelsea.

Both players sent off were English.

Both players sent off had spells at Aston Villa.

Both players won over 50 caps for England.

Both players have six letters in their surnames.

So if you're a betting man and believe in coincidences then lash a tenner on James Milner being sent off tonight.

If you're struggling to work out who the other two are then they're Emile Heskey in 2000 and Peter Crouch in 2007.

Outstanding teaser that. Got Heskey but completely forgot Crouchie played for Villa. Cannot remember an iota of that game from 2007. One of those forget it and move on types of matches no doubt.

I can only remember the red card. Crouch jumping in on Mikel. Just completely chopped him down. Because of the size of Crouch it was F***ing comical.

It was like Kuyt's on Phil Neville in the Derby, except Dirk got away with his.

Mo Salah now has as many Premier League goals as Roberto Firmino (38) for Liverpool in 67 fewer games.

Our next home League game is the Derby on 2nd December, at which point we would of gone over two years since scoring a Premier League penalty at Anfield. The last one being James Milner against Sunderland (now of Division 2) on the 26th November 2016.

Jürgen Klopp's win percentage for League games is now higher than the great Bob Paisley, leaving him second only to Kenny Dalglish for post-war managers. John McKenna is still far and away the most successful with over 70% win rate (22 wins in 30 games)

Kenny won 160 out of 280 League games (over two spells) with a win percentage of 57.14
Jürgen has won 68 out of 121 League games with a win percentage of 56.20
Bob won 212 out of 378 League games with a win percentage 56.08

Mo Salah now has more Liverpool goals than Bobby Firmino.

And the Egyptian is just two behind all-time Liverpool greats - Phil Neal and Peter Beardsley who both scored 59.

After basically half a season, this year, we’ve scored more goals against Alisson than all the Premier League teams combined. 7-6. We done it in 2 games.

Yeah. Rodgers had Gerrard and Suarez.
Often wonder how that pair would have performed under Klopp.
