Tottenham have appointed Andre Villas-Boas as their new manager.

Can't find anything saying that on the net.

They can't say anything or reveal him as manager until July 1st, due to an agreement between Eh Vee Bee and Chelsea.

      Oh, fair enough.

Hope he fails miserably with them.

      Hahaha.

And Voronin's our greatest ever forward. He had a cracking 2007-08 pre-season!

Remember that pre season from Voronin. How could I have been fooled  :-\

Looks like they are set to capture AVB as their new manager. It's a shame. I really like AVB and I think he's got the tools to be a top manager and when the manager's job was vacant here I was keen to see him succeed Kenny. Didn't happen though. But Tottenham is a precarious job to take and it could end in tears again.

Should have gone to Italy or Spain AVB - not waste yourselves at those cockney rent boys!

The Club is delighted to announce Andre Villas-Boas as Head Coach.

Finally Andre Villas-Boas is announced Spurs manager.

Good appointment. I think he got shafted at Chelsea and now he has a great opportunity to do himself justice.

yep good appointment. This makes me more likely to believe Fenway had no interest in bringing him to LFC, despite the very strong rumours. Personally I would have been happy with AVB as Liverpool manager.

Yes I think he's a very good manager.  The top of the Premier League is so competitive. If we get our act together, there legitimately will be 6 strong clubs fighting it out. One or two major injuries and you have no hope of getting in Champions League, never mind winning the league.

Fingers crossed that we noticeably improve our club this summer.  :-\

I would be interested to know the fee to see if Ajax managed to hold out for the price they wanted to sell at. Spurs are notoriously difficult to do business with because they try to buy on the cheap and over-inflate when trying to sell.

Reading it's just 8 million euros, which would be a steal.

Yes. Generally, the Spurs fans are the most knowledgeless bunch of football fans in the Premier League. Plus half of their fans are repulsive looking nonces like Danny Kelly.

Vertonghen basically confirmed  !!! If they nab a decent striker then im worried that they are going to continue to establish themselves ahead of us.

I have a feeling one of Modric, Bale or VDV is on their way out. Modric seems most likely.
