I did not know it until just recently but I hear she is on 100k/week + retirement. Defiantly need to continue culling the wages out of the squad.

Wasn't she signed by Rafa?  :f_whistle:

      Over-valuing Modric and under-valuing M'Vila.

Anyone else looking at the Modric situation and seeing some similarities to us with Alonso?

He' their man in the middle, pulls all the strings and keeps the ticking over and he's bloody good at it. He's as good as gone to Real Madrid now and they need a replacement. We wanted Barry and then Jovetic and Aquilani and ended up with just Aquilani. We've been trying to fix that since Xabi left.

If Spurs get this wrong who's to say they won't stumble like we did?

I know we had a lot more issues going on but losing Xabi and failing to properly replace him effected us. And I can see the exact same situation happening with Modric now...

You could well be right, however, Spurs are not in the same financial situation as LFC were post Alonso, so we shall just have to wait and see how it pans out.

Jake Livermore seems to be Modric's replacement. That on it's own will contribute to their downfall, unless they get brave and move VDV in to Modric's spot, which will make them great in attack but F***ing soft as sh*t through the middle (can't play Parker AND Sandro).

Signed a striker though in Adebayor.

News of Defoe > Villa would of left them ridiculously short in depth and quality up front. Even now it looks thin for them in that department.

Good side but think they have lost that depth in quality they once had and they look pretty thin now.

Still rumours that Joao Moutinho will replace Modric but Spuds won't pay the asking price, which is no surprise if it's true.

No surprise to see VdV leaving and I agree with H2H Moutinho is the most likely replacement. Really like the player so hope they don't get him.

Saw some spurs fans praising levy for the link made with madrid by spurs. They are saying that spurs will get their young players on loan and some of their older player not in their first team.

But when i saw this news, i thought mourinho secured a 'first option' on bale though ;D.

They bought Dembele, which is a great addition for them. I think the 15m can be justified. If we didn't have so many midfielders, i'd say we should have gone for him

Hearing some rumours that 'Arry was trying, for personal gain, to off load Modric to PSG, which is part of the reason he was dismissed.

And absolutely nothing to do with the fact he's just a bent f**ker.

Ah well at least I don't have to watch him hanging out of his motor talking sh*te to SSN's transfer gimp today.

They've lost a couple of good players but Moutinho is a real quality player they've brought in and at £22m I don't think they've over paid either. Good thing is they're managed by AVB so hopefully they all get pissed off with him.

Never went through as they couldn't agree to wages as he was on high (some quote 80k) at Porto which would of made him the highest at Spurs.
