Euro 08 Prediction League

In what will be a trial for a completely new points system for the Prediction League, and also a little bit of interest for Euro 2008 a Prediction League for Euro 2008 has been added to the Prediction League page.

If you've already got a username and password for it then fine - you don't need to sign up again.
If you've not yet joined - now's your chance.

Note the following changes to the Prediction League points.

5 points - Correct Score Prediction
2 points - Correct Result
1 point - Correct home score
1 point - Correct away score

As you can see, it will be possible therefore to gain either 0,1,2,3 or 5 points in each game. 

During the group stages users will be able to see each others predictions - after the group stages - fellow users predictions will be hidden until after the game finishes.

The prize will be an actual inscribed trophy to go on your mantlepiece.

Joined up,missed the start of the last Premiership one so will see how good this is so i can get invoved next season.

Can anyone tell me how to sign up for the Euro 2008 prediction league?

Click on the link in J.D'S opening thread, the prediction page opens up and in the upper left and corner is a new user link to register.
At the top in the centre you need to change the liverpool 2007/08 league to euro prediction by clicking on it afterwards !

The new points system should make things a little less predictable, and as we usually all go for a reds win in the normal prediction league - then we might have a bit of a tit for tat battle at the top.

I'll probably win though.
