I have gone for 1-0 wins for both Russia and Turkey I honestly think that both these winners can actually pull the results off.

I will be shouting for my adoptive Spain but need these results to top the league !
I've worked out that I'd be tieing with the current leader on 61 pts each, would he win by the fact he scored the points from a game less than I did or would it go to goal difference ?

Tried that, 1-0 Germany but I don't think it was a unique scoreline prediction. Have gone unique for Russia v Spain...need 7 unique pts to have any chance of getting 1st before the final.

More dismal patheticness in the semi-finals.  Only mattmcg covers himself with any kind of glory - grabbing 6 points out of a potential 14.

So here we are.  The final.  In prediction league terms - week/round 6 of the tournament.

Germany v Spain.  5 bonus points available.  A maximum of 10 points available for one correct prediction.  Can there... can there really be a dramatic change in the leader.

Will the elusive Zizou hold firm, or will one of the other 7 players in with a chance snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.

It's going to be exciting.  It's going to be tense.

But only one of you can claim victory in this years LFC Reds Euro 2008 Prediction League.

Only one of you will have this magnificent beast of a trophy on your fireplace. (And regrettably it will not be me).

Unfortunately neither player was near enough before the game to make a real challenge for the title.

The tournament is over and zizou (who is registered on this forum) will win the LFC Reds trophy.... on the condition that they reply to this thread to do some gloating!
