What is it like then? Is it more racing sim or racing game?

To make it easy, is it more like Forza or PGR?

More like Forza.  It's the same people who made all the TOCA games for PS2.  I would say it is slap bang in between Colin McRae rally and Sega Rally.  I enjoyed the demo.  If I had any time, and if I had completed GTA4 I would get it if only for the fact it actually says things like 'Hurry up John' on the game.

To make it easy?? as I've never played either that makes it harder!!

From other people I know tho who have a 360 its less arcady than PGR4 but not as real life as Forza2 (if that makes sense to you?) why dont you just download the demo???

SO yeah basically what JD said :D

See I love Forza. I think i'll stick to it unless the demo really impresses me.

Rapidly going off topic, but I had a bash on Forza on the 360 today in M&S. I thought it was fairly sh*t.  First time I had really played on the XBox 360.   Therefore any of the above mentioned PS3 games probably whips its arse.

Well I agree. GT was a little disappointing.  Different type of game though (although obviously driving!)

Played Race Driver: GRID in Gamestation the other day! If I weren't mad busy in Liberty City and everywhere else on MGS4 then I'd have bought it!

One for the bargains in a few months though, excellent game! :D

I played it in Gamestation as well Joey.  TBH I didn't think much of it I'm afraid.

It looked promising until I picked up a pad and thought nah!

I smashed up a M3 and started again. Think that's the inner child thing though! ;)

Theres just a few niggles with the game that stop me from playing it all the time:

      1) Online, you touch another car, you spin. No matter wether you tap or smash and people take advantage of this
      2) You even touch the grass or mud and you spin

      Forza has recaptured my imagination

your a wuss, it takes driving skills to play arcade/sim type games, although i did miss out probably the equal to grid it was called flatout....and allowed you to projectile through your windscreen and get splatted by another car

So what is Forza then? The most realistic driving game on the xbox. Im not worried about the realism, its the lack of realism that annoys me with grid. Its still a good game, its just those niggles that annoy me. And yes I can play arcade driving games aswell, the PGR series is a personal favourite

cant say ive played forza as we only have a pc and a wii, would like to by the sound of it. the toca series were always unforgiving on the bends, its about getting your skiddies right, actually gettinga  feel for the different cars and CONTOLLing them..he he

Have you ever played Gran Turismo? Forza and GT are similar, I still prefer Forza though haha

My brother picked this up today pre-owned.

Absolutely quality, although I'm finding it pretty hard so far!

Does anyone else own it? Do you have to complete several number of races/earn a certain amount of money before you can start doing stuff with your car etc? Or can't you do that anyway...

Damn its good Ross, the replay feature is the best part of this.
I find CM Dirt a much better game though.

      Great isn't it.

What's the answer to my question though mate?

EDIT: Doesn't matter, just had a look through the game booklet, it appears that as you progress you are able to do more things for example create your own team etc. Is that right?
