Imagine Northern Ireland beat Spain 3-2 in the qualifiers with a David Healy hat trick    But congratulations to Spain, thoroughly deserved and what a special moment for Torres to score the winner.  He looked dangerous all night and he should be fresh for the new season having been subbed in every match

Congratulations to our spanish lads and to the rest of the squad,the best team won out in the end.Enjoy the victory as I countdown to august 16 impatiently. PS congrats to spanish people everywhere(not least Rafa & Co at Melwood).

Spain were the better team on the night and the most consistent team in the whole Euro's. They deserved to win it all and congrats to that!

Absolutely thrilled to bits for Spain tonight.

I bet there all having a great time celebrating after a long season with their clubs, then to go into the Euro's not having won a major trophy in 40 odd years, to win in such spectacular fashion and to play Germany off the park, they could have won easily by 3 goals tonight.

Made up for our 'El Nino' to have scored the winning goal, lets hope our Spanish contingent can bring their good fortune from this tournament to Anfield next season and it rubs off onto the other lads to make us Premiership champions next season. 

To Pepe Reina, Xabi Alonso and Alvaro Arbeloa who played their part as well. Well done lads, now get off on your Holidays for a well deserved break and charge your batteries for the new season ahead.
