      semi finals are

      Wade v Mardel

      Taylor v Priestley.

I hope Wade and Priestley go through with Wade winnin the title again. Taylor and Mardel are just to cocky for their own good.

Taylor won the world matchplay tonight by beatin Wade 18-9. Taylor was head and shoulders above anyone else in the tournament though, looked back to his best.

Anyone see the PDC World Championship final, Phil the power battering Barney 7-1.

Don't care if people think he's arrogant, he's surely the best darts player in the world.

The darts players split in to two groups.

Think Sky were probably behind the split but don't know a lot about it.

      Silly.

Watched a bit of it today on BBC 2, one of the competitors Sean Greatbatch, been suffering from cancer I think, missed this bit at the start, but they did a nice piece on him, very moving.

He didn't appear last year, won through a wildcard and was just pleased to be playing again. He got beat 3-0 by one of his mates John Walton, then most of the darts players then gave him a guard of honour when he left the stage.

      As i said very moving!

Sky darts are professional, BBC are amerture that's the biggest difference.

Sky without a doubt are the better organistion, with better quality, which I assume is only natural with them being professional. Even the best on the BBC though look as if they'd stuggle to qualify for most of Sky's tournaments. In saying that, the BBC offers much better excitement because it's a wide open event, whereas on Sky you know Taylor has won before a darts been thrown.

Anyone watching the 2010 World Championship at the moment?  Brilliant game last night between Alan Tabern and Mark Dudbridge, went to tie break and Dudbridge won 4-3.  Taylor whitewashed The Muffin Man  :o

Looking forward to watching Adrian Lewis again, he's well up for this, if all goes to plan, he should meet Taylor in the quarter finals and what a match that will be. Taylor is peeved that Lewis's average score is higher than his at the moment, would love Lewis to win the tournament, although Taylor is without doubt the Master, he is so bloody arrogant with it.

Come on Adrian Lewis !!   ;D

I was watching last night and after the football finished the crowd were going nuts, do you think that was to do with our result being heard or not...???
