I reckon Whiskey Nose will give him a new contract.

He is decent back up when fit.

Hearing very strong rumours that Kenny wants to bring Owen back to Anfield for next season.

Any one else hearing the same ?

Saw an article on ESPN but wouldn't look much into it since it had something to do with CaughtOffside.

Wouldn't exactly fit into NESV's plan even if Kenny wants him, would it? 32 years old and injury prone.

I'm hearing Kenny is being somewhat influenced by Gerrard and Carra, similar to what happened with Fowler and its nothing to do with caught offside either.

The only thing I've seen was from caught offside too, so I paid it all the attention it deserved, none.

Seriously hope to F**k he doesn't come back here. I don't see what he could possibly bring to the club. Would be a really bad move on so many levels imo

Stevie and Carra need to take sentiment out of it. Yeah he is your friend and all that, but he is also a treacherous c**t, who is not good enough for Liverpool.

Agree and I also feel Kenny may listen to senior players opinions but is strong enough to make up his own mind.

I wouldn't want him back under any circumstances as apart from any other reasons he is very rarely fit and his best days were when he still played for us 7 years ago.

I don't know about you but I want what's best for this club and David N'Gog is not what's best for this club. In fact he's represented everything what was wrong about Liverpool on the field these past couple of years. Everything and I don't ever want to see a player of his quality ever playing here again. I'd take Michael Owen with two broken legs over a fit and healthy N'Gog any day.

Why are you that bitter ?

He's a good back up player, has done well for united when he's played !

He will add experience to FSG's new youth policy.

We all know he'll only be backup for Suarez and Carrol and if he can come off the bench and help us win the title i won't complain. He's lost any chance of being a Liverpool legend but unlike some i can get over it if its for the good of the club.

Interesting idea but there surely will be more reliable options as a number three than Owen?

It's not a matter of choosing N'Gog over Owen for me. We are moving forward as a club and a club moving forward and trying to progress does not sign the likes of Michael Owen in my opinion.

Decided he didn't want to be here in summer 2004, didn't succeed at Real Madrid and has been injured virtually ever since he came back to England.

I'd rather have Dirk as our third striker than have to sign Owen.

Me too mate, but given what I've been told about Gerrard and Carra having some influence in this I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up happening.

I really thought with Kenny and NESV arriving, this player power bullshit would stop.

Owen is in no way shape or form going to improve us. Kuyt is better than him. He's not like Raul who's staying fit and scoring.
