But I don't know if he'd be very good back up seeing as though he always gets injured!

Very true miss Viking. His legs are goosed.

I feel we don't have the money to be taking risks.

He was a great player for us. We got the best out of him. He wanted to better himself rather than be loyal with LFC for a new and exciting chapter in our history.

Personally, I'm glad this thread is just discussion without any real link.

This thread is always revived in the transfer window, even if there is no real link, he isn't coming back, he is past his best and he is now only fit for a side of newcastle standard. He has lost all of his pace now, and that was his real threat, if he did come back to us I would him to prove me wrong, but the michael owen days are over now, we got Torres!!

Yes, he may be injury proned last time, but it happens to the players when they don't really enjoy to play for a team.
But what it's amazing he's still not satisfied by contract terms with Magpies. If things go on like this, next year he will be a free agent, so it's worth to speak about it next year.

He wants showdown talks about his contract :o

What makes you think you deserve more you sell out? Getting paid what people earn in 2 years every week isnt enough for you while sitting on the bench or medical table? Please Michael.

Hopefully he doesn't sign a contract.  I'd deffo have him back for free next season.  Give him a one year contract and stick the greedy little c**t in the reserve team... as a sub.

I agree black-white doesn't go him. Red was for him much better.

It's like in one Russian song. It's just right for that situation. Something like that: Black and white colours don't suit you and you don't have luck, you run away and leave me a dream about you.

I dont really care to be honest, he did'nt have to leave and want bigger, better things than liverpool............... NO SUCH THING
Many people make big or little mistakes in their life. Only they are responsible for their mistakes, because it's necessary to realize what you do and think before making decisions about consequences of our decisions. Some mistakes can be fatal for us, but can we have a chance to correct them?

Yes, we can, but we should realize that mistakes. The problem of Owen, he can't do it now. May he realize it in the future? Maybe, who knows! Everything depends on him, not on us.

However some people mistake Juve and Newcastle due to their similar colours, especially when those people don't understand football well! Poor people!
May it be better for Owen to play for Juve, if Newcastle colours are so unlucky?

I think its easy to tell them apart, the one that fixes matches to win, is Juve, the one that fixes matches, and still screws up, is Newcastle

Thank you for help! Now it will be much easier to explain the difference between  the black and  white in English and Italian football!
