England have a friendly in between those two CL qualifying games on Aug 20th (Ch.Rep at Wembley) ... would appreciate SG being rested for that meaningless match... same goes for Spain and our fab four (away to Denmark on the same day!!)

Why oh why these stupid games slap bang in between two critical games for our club.

If you count possibly Masch, Lucas, Leto and Insua all out post Olympics are squad will be looking a little thin in August....

Toughest team we can get is Sevilla isn't it? I remember At. Madrid being in the 4th group when it was being predicted but Sevilla pipped them t 4th.

No they didn't, Atletico finished ob level points and they had the tie break (I can't remember what it is) so they will be in the UCL and Sevilla will be back in their favorite competition of UEFA CUP.

As far as the draw goes you remember there is seeding in this so really tough to think who we could face at this point.

      Reds friendly test for Chester

Chester City have landed a potentially money-spinning pre-season friendly tie with Premier League heavyweights Liverpool.City will entertain Rafael Benitez's side on July 12 at the Deva Stadium in a fixture which could pull in a full house.

Blues boss Simon Davies said: "Liverpool don't have any other fixtures on that day so we're hoping for a fair turn-out from their first team.

"It's going to be a great day for the fans - and a great challenge for the players as well.

"We've spoken to a lot of big clubs about friendlies and credit to Liverpool for taking us up on the offer."

      Put this too!
