Phone Wi-Fi

I know this sounds - erm, newbish?

But can anyone give me the low down on what this is and if it's worth it?

pretty sure its just being able to sign up to a wireless BB signal, I have the Nokia N95 8Gb and I can go on the web using my wireless ISP instead of using the phones network/3G etc so you dont have to pay for it and when your out and about if your in a pub/cafe etc which provides free wi-fi again you connect and get online

That's exactly why I was asking.  I'm going for the N95 8GB on contract and I've heard the Wi-Fi is pretty useful.  But cheers anyway Priesty!

I've got it on my iPod Touch. Dead handy actually.

It's quite good on the iTouch - Youtube and iTunes work very well.

wi-fi is becoming pretty standard on phones in england now isn't it? us irish are getting shafted, we're about a year behind in technology and probably pay double the price!
