Admittedly the same or similar to ToyMaster with the line around.

Suarez carrying Skrtel is quite a fitting picture for last season.

Never was mad enough to go in the middle, always top left for me when I went.

What was that like, did people look out for one another? Or was it sheer madness? Just curious.

We all looked out for each other.
We were so tightly packed you had to make sure your ciggies were in a top pocket.
You always got there early for 1 to half 1 to get the best "spec".
Your crew always acknowledged another crew standing in their favourite place.

Backs up against a crowd barrier .... thats the way its started.
Never ended that way.

Surges were cool when the whole Kop pushed forward as the lads were attacking the Kop goal ..... then the scrabbling back up the steps.

There are many notorious stories surrounding our days in the Kop.
Great days.

Your right Eurored.....I can remember travelling up to games from London in the mid 80's paying I think £3.50 to stand on the Kop. I was 16 at the time and it was an unbelievable experience...I started standing in one place and ended up somewhere totally different! I remember scousers hearing my accent on the bus going to and from the ground and asking did I travel up today when I said yes they said "we drink in there, next time you come up on your own pop in".....whether they wanted to have a drink or give me a beating I have no idea Im guessing it was a drink as attitudes were different in those days! I used to travel to games and meet with some local scousers, a lad from Grantham who met his future wife on the terraces away to Chelsea and various other supporters from around the country....good days where you could pay on the gate most places.

Not in touch with any of them anymore but who knows some may be on these boards!
