Not the player, (Alan Clarke of Leeds), but the old Main Stand & Paddock.

Have you noticed Sniffer Clarke is letting it all hang out ..... and on a day like that.

That what they call North Sea Syndrome.   Frostbite would have made that disappear soon enough.

Leeds were  always a a bunch of dicks.

A time long forgotten, 1975-76 season. QPR (yes QPR) were top of the League, played 42 games and on 59pts, Liverpool played 41 with the same points, but an inferior goal difference.

Think it was a Wednesday, unsure why we had played less, but TV did not rule, and the only way to follow games was on the Radio, of Trany, short for transistor radio. My was the turquoise one second to the right.

Sitting in my late Mum and Dad's house, in the corner on the floor trying to get the best MW reception I could, fine tuning the dial ever few minutes was hell. The 'photo brings back so many memories, I was only 13 at the time, and we had school the next day, bragging rights were mine! Glorious days. No TV highlights were available either.

Wolves took a 1st half lead, which was never on the cards, but then.... Enjoy

It sure was a Wednesday redpuppy.
I was 23 at the time and thumbed a lift to wolves from West Country.
       ( Chippenham Nr Bath)
One of the best matches/nights I ever experienced. Still fresh in the memory, even the gate bursting open before the match and dozens of scousers rushed in for a free game. Scousers pretty well took over the ground. Got so many stories I could tell about that game if youā€™ve ever got a couple of hours to spare. Even the mad events that took place as I made my way home.
I travelled to a lot of games alone in them days. Only trouble I ever encountered that came to blows was from scousers ! Yeah 😳
Was close to a beasting at wolves that night but blagged my way out 😁
      Memories, memories,
      Thanks for that 😊
