Holidays.....

Just got back from a week in Liverpool. Was over only a few months ago but this is the first time I’ve stayed for a prolonged period in the city for a few years now, normally only go in for a day and then back out to my family.

Absolutely brilliant, you forget how friendly everyone is and just normal really, was for a family event so didn’t get up to loads to be honest but just went for a wander around really, decent dinners, bars, shopping etc.

Good to see the bananalamas are still knocking about, although they are much creepier than I remember

Bit the bullet and booked a driving holiday in Croatia.

Still thinking about a tour around Seville and Granada.

Not been on a plane for over 2 years 😳

Got flights on Emirates that haven’t been used in 2 years, road trips are best, once dust settles I fancy Croatia..

I was supposed to go to Ethiopia and Uganda for work a good many years back. Got switched to another location and ended up seeing Kiev and Tbilisi. Kind of wanted to go on that trip because I just don't see myself having the occasion to see Africa at this point although I think it would be really cool some day. Still haven't made it to the UK yet. My ma wanted to plan and take a 2 week trip to see England and some of Ireland back in 2020, glad we never got around to booking that one........

I went there about 15 years ago and enjoyed it. Can sometimes be a little windy but will be nice hot wind.

Was supposed to be in Tenerife 2nd week in January but with the wife being so far on we decided against it with everything going on.

Next one is Fethiye in Turkey around September time and will have a 6 month old with us. Not sure how that'll go but it'll definitely be a different type of holiday than what I'm used to.

Went to Marmaris about 6 years ago and it really surprised me how lovely some of Turkey is.

Aye mate, was in Marmaris for the 1st time a year and a half ago and loved it. Dirt cheap too. This Fethiye place looks a lot nicer and quieter too which will suit us with a baby.

South Africa in May for two weeks and then planning a week away with some mates in August for my 30th.
