Liverpool reported to Premier League regarding Robbie Keane

Hold your horses, or should that be cockerels!!! I have just read on a Spur Forum that Keane wants to play for Liverpool, Is that not a form of transfer request? And if so how can we “tap up”, for which I was lead to believe you have to do BEHIND peoples back and not in the media.

Yep, we are tapping up Robbie Keane, I heard that he had agreed to sign a new deal with the club and then he suddenly changed his mind and was set for liverpool............... .Oh no, hang on that was the crystal palace kid (bostock is it?) that has had a change of heart all of a sudden and ended up at spurs! bloody hypocrites!

Was reading the BBC forums on the issue to see what drivvel i could find from Spurs fans defending the Bostock deal. Here it is:

This is utter bollocks it is becoming somewhat of a cliche in modern football clubs attempt to sign players from smaller clubs and they are 'tapping up' what a load of sh*t. In the middle of the transfer market we made an offer for a player the coach believes can benefit the squad that is all no crime in that.

I spose Blackburn could report spurs for tapping up Bentley. As much as i hate the mancs i agree they have'nt tapped up berbatov as we have'nt tapped up keane the 2 teams were meerly declaring there interest and declaring that an offer was made which the last i knew was allowed. It's the finger-pointing, childish attitude that gets on my tits! All teams operate the same way - they declare an interest in a certain player, if they think they can improve their side, then make a bid. I suppose what annoyed them is the fact that the papers got a hold of the story, but that always happens, I don't think it has affected in any way the outcome of the deal. Even if it was all kept quiet, Keane would still have wanted to come to Liverpool, because we can improve his career.

The must sold now and dont report, They think that they are in the race for title. He have to fight very much for win Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and United.

If we got reported for declaring an interest in a player then Harry Redknapp must be going to hell for crying out loud. We could have easily reported him because he said many times that he is a big fan of Crouchy and would love to have him at the club, he also said the same about other players from many different clubs such as Shaun Wright-Phillips. Personally i think Spurs were out of order as they are just as bad as pompey.
