      Good luck at Bolton David.

Just didn't have the extra quality to make it here and always appeared a little intimidated and over awed when selected but have a feeling he might do OK at Bolton.

He'll score 15+goals this season for Bolton if he adapts well, he's far better than many strikers of the EPL.
He was not given enough match to prove himself on a regular basis. Good luck and I hope he soon plays for France.

Bolton Wanderers boss Coyle delighted to land Liverpool striker N’Gog

      by Kieran Evans
      Fri 02 Sep 2011 12:24

Bolton Wanderers boss Owen Coyle is pleased he sealed a deal for Liverpool forward David N'Gog.

Coyle had been tracking the Frenchman for some time but has only just managed to finalise the deal for a reported £4million.

"David will be a great addition to our squad," said Coyle. "He is quick, can score goals and he knows what the Barclays Premier League is all about.

"Added to that there is his European experience with Liverpool in the Champions and Europa Leagues.

"He has represented his country at a host of junior levels and he will offer our team further attacking options.

"We are delighted to bring another quality, young prospect to Bolton."

Probably loads I'd imagine, big signing for them.

Good luck to him, a player with good potential who did well in his time here.

Ngog ready to shine at Bolton
France Under 21 international eyes success with Bolton

      By Soriebah Kajue
      Last Updated: September 2, 2011 5:19pm

Bolton's new signing David Ngog has admitted he is delighted to be a part of a club that is in the ascendancy.

The 22-year-old striker joined the Trotters on transfer deadline-day having found himself a victim of Kenny Dalglish's new-look Liverpool side.

Owen Coyle has transformed Bolton into an attractive option for young players who want to develop their game.

His successes with Jack Wilshere and Daniel Sturridge over the last two seasons have not gone unnoticed by the France Under-21 international, who too hopes to develop his game.

"The club is ambitious and has been constantly improving over the last few years, and I am happy to be part of that," Ngog told the club's official website.

"There is some good quality in the squad and I will try my best to add something extra to the team, and bring my experiences with Liverpool to the team.

"The gaffer makes decisions on who plays and I respect that. I'm ambitious and want to be on the pitch every week and show what I'm capable of. "

Coyle has fostered a real sense of togetherness within the squad since he took over and it is something that Ngog already seems to be adapting to.

"I'm a striker and I want to score goals - I'm fit and ready to play whenever I'm asked to," he added.

"But I'm not judging myself on goals because it's all about the team winning. I think this group can do something good this year."

Never took the time to thank the lad for his services. Always gave his all, and I always defended him as a player. I still think he'll go onto become a very good striker.

Really felt for him last season when he started really well, but then as soon as Torres was fit, he was back on the bench while nando sulked around the pitch for half a season. Always showed the club great respect and fought for his place but I think he now realises it's best for his career to join a side who can give him alot more game time.

Best of luck David. YNWA :)

Always liked David Ngog. Has got the potential to be a great prolific striker given the chance and I think he will have the chance and fulfill his full potential at Bolton.

Ngog value will soar, says Coyle
      7th Sep 2011 - Transfer Gossip

Bolton manager Owen Coyle says he expects David Ngog's value to soar after the 22-year-old striker joined the Trotters from Liverpool on transfer deadline day.

Ngog was one of a trio of signings made late by Coyle, with the emphasis all on youth with Chelsea's Gael Kakuta and Manchester City defender Dedryck Boyata, 20, arriving at the Reebok Stadium on loan.

Coyle said: "Any signing you make is a gamble, whether they be 18 or 34 because they come into a new club and have to get used to that environment.

"But I've always felt that any club I have been in charge of, it is an environment which is conducive to people coming in.

"I think all three are young, exciting players, and when you have that enthusiasm and ability when you get a chance it is up to you to go show what you can do.

"We brought them here in the belief they can make an impact - that is why they are here. Particularly with David, we spent money on a player who we think will grow and take the club on rather than paying a fee for someone who is 32 and whose value depreciates from the moment you sign them.

"At every club I have been at I have looked to sign young players and invest in that value and look to bring them on, and particularly so with strikers. If David scores goals that value will soar, and I would expect it to do because of his quality."

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Kakuta who turned down a return to Fulham, admits he had no option but to look for first-team football elsewhere because of the long list of talent ahead of him in the Chelsea ranks.

"When you're young you have to be patient because you have big players at Chelsea that have lots of international and club experience," he said.

"There were about seven or eight players in front of me with experience and that is the reason I came here."

Well, it is funny, to be honest ... Of course, not as funny as Sturridge scoring 8 goals in 12 appearances for Bolton, after previously scoring exactly 0 goals in 13 appearances for Chelsea, in the exact same season ...
