Just seen the highlights of the game and it looked as if we were starting to look for some form, in recent games its all been about fitness and getting games under your belt but now is when we need to kick off some form.

Gerrard looked like he had recovered well from his injury, his partnership with Keane and Torres was mouthwatering but what most impressed me was N'Gog,Dossena and Cavalieri who all showed a glimpse of the future.

Only pre-season but the form is coming.....

I'm stoked for the new lads who performed and started showing why they were acquired. Dossena was getting slated without kicking a ball for his price tag and Cavalieri was rated as 'absolute sh*t' by some on here. Also, Ngog who hadnt graced the turf was doubted because of his league tally last season.

Well done the REDS,you have shown how to score goals and how to defend and more important how to win.The aim now is to carry on winning right through to next May.I really believe the squad RAFA has got can bring home the CUPS this season,and pleae do not sell Alonso.

Cracking game, if anything the scoreline flattered them towards the end, we could have easily had another couple. It seems we're building a bit of momentum now that we're putting out close to a full strength side. I wonder if the fact that Plessis was the only youngster given a start is a sign that he's gonna be used whilst Masch & Lucas are at the Olympics?

I thought the same we i was watching the first half 'cos rafa played him with gerrard but spearing was played with alonso too.

He impressed against Arsenal last season, I wouldn't mind seeing him stand in!

Well mate i can tell you as a celtic season ticket holder i won't get tired of seeing any of those goals again.

May i just add i never really bothered about liverpool until i saw them for the first time yesterday at ibrox and wow was i impressed you bet i was it was someof the most slickest passing i have ever seen. I got on the lap top this morning and signed up as a club member and i hope i get the chance to come to anfield and see the team down there.

All i can say is that was a full strength rangers team that was out minus the inclustion of barry ferguson.

Great we were finally able to score, especially after all the draws!! Nice to see Ngog get his first goal as well, shame Keane didn't but he will score eventually!

Yea it was good and keane had a good game him and torres seem to have formed a pretty good understanding throughout the 1st half.

How disgusting was the rangers fans though towards robbie??? no wonder no-one likes them Rangers fans that is.

From what i've heard, it sounds like Nando and Keane will make a great little partnership. They seem to be playing with each other really well and providing good support for the other.

Can't wait until the season starts now!
