Yeah lilcisse i noticed. He did the elastico or flip flap and came back in to shoot but it went aggonisingly close to the top corner. He was brilliant.

Quite the predicament for Rafa but a good one in the centre but out wide it must be hell for Ryan. Wingers HAVE to come if we want a shout at the Prem. but Ryan could have shifted up top too as a back up for Keane and Torres or played on the wing.

Maybe Rafa wants a 4-3-3? Makes sense with Barry but then Masch is out or if its:

 Gerrard    Masch    Barry

 Keane     Torres    Babel

Then what about Lucas, Plessis, Kuyt, Alonso etc etc.

very true mash is a great player but i think he is very short temperd and the team don't need that they i wll give him that though he is a ball winner. I'm going against my own team here and we would be losing a qulity player but what about

No chelsea never and united have good player that can adapt into 1 formation i think if the pool get of the a good start then i can see a 2nd place finish.

Still haven't got to see the full game yet as I was out last night when it was aired on LFC TV. Seen most of the second half when it was played though and I have to say, it was great to see us keeping hold of the ball so well. Lovely football.

Keep that sort of possesion in our game going into the season and we'll start off very well indeed.

Anyway, football! we gave it to them good and proper, I work in Edinburgh with loads of Gers supporter and boy are they going to never be able to forget this "friendly"
