Liverpool FC have released the following ticket information for our Premier League clash with Manchester United.

The entire stadium will be ticketed and the following prices will apply:-
 
Main Stand, Centenary Stand, Anfield Road
and Paddock Enclosure - £39.00
Over 65s - £29.50
 
Kop - £37.00
Over 65s - £28.00
 
Anfield Road one adult/one child combined - £58.50
 
Wheelchair Space and Visually Impaired - £29.50
Personal Assistant - Free
 
Season Ticket Holders will be able to gain entry for this Premier League fixture upon presentation of their Fan Card at the turnstiles as usual.
 
Initially applications for match day tickets for this fixture will only be available to Members/Fan Card Holders who attended the Reading match on 15 March 2008 AND the Blackburn Rovers match on 12 April 2008 by post, credit card booking line or online.
 
If tickets are still available following the above sale, tickets will then be available as follows:
 
Members/Fan Card Holders who attended the Reading match on 15 March 2008 OR the Blackburn Rovers match on 12 April 2008 by post and credit card booking line.    
Attendance Data held on the Ticket Office Computer system for the Reading and the Blackburn Rovers fixtures will determine eligibility for a Manchester United ticket.

Supporters who attended both nominated matches should make an application by post immediately, enclosing the correct remittance and a stamped addressed envelope and all qualifying Fan Card numbers must be quoted.

Tickets will be available to supporters with a qualifying Fan Card on 0844 844 0844 (Overseas (0044) 870 220 2151) from Tuesday 26 August until Thursday 28 August and will be subject to a 50p per ticket booking fee. Fan card numbers must be quoted and supporters will be asked to confirm their address.
 
Please Note: Supporters can purchase one ticket per qualifying Fan Card.
 
Supporters can purchase tickets for up to a maximum of FOUR qualifying Fan Cards on the Telephone booking lines. If Supporters wish to apply for a greater number of tickets they can apply by postal application.
 
Online bookings
 
A limited number of adult tickets will be available to purchase from our online sales page to supporters with a qualifying Fan Card and unique password. These will be available from Tuesday 26 August for as long as supplies last and will be subject to a booking fee of £2.50 per ticket.
 
Important
Supporters who purchased their ticket through the Development Association need to contact the Development Association concerning the allocation of a Manchester United Ticket.
 
Complimentary tickets from the nominated fixtures will not qualify for a Manchester United Ticket.
 
We would emphasise to all eligible applicants that no guarantee can be given that tickets will be available to all who apply.

Places like World Ticket Shop do have legitimate tickets for sale.

But you are paying a substantial premium.

If i buy today a membership (29.00£) i'll be able to buy a ticked for the Liverpool - man utd game by phone (i'll be still in Greece) on 29/8 or they'll be sold out days before?

For the games against lower reputation teams i also need to be a member to get a ticket (i intent to go to as many games as possible)?

Join a supporters club mate (maybe the Merseyside branch) so much easier and better to get a ticket, sold at face value and travel there and back arranged.

Im with the "Kent Reds" and I've sent in for my ticket for the game with the Mancs, looks like I got it.

It's definitely the best way to get tickets and it doesnt rip the club off with money (something I wouldn't dream of doing)

I will do it, but only when i actually move in Liverpool (after 5/9) so for the first game i can be there (against manchester) it's late to find a ticket this way. So, if i buy a member card today or tomorrow, is there any change that i could buy a ticket for this game by phone on 29/8?

Make sure you sign up to be a member. Pretty much the starting point for getting any ticket.

I have been a long time fan, but this is the first time I actually get to visit England.

I saw tickets on the internet are extremely unreasonable, and wanted to get two tickets outside the field.

I know it's unsafe and risky but I am dying to see the club play (its the only reason I am flying over).

Does anyone have any suggestions regarding places were I can find touts?

I heard there are bar and "meeting points" to find them and I was curious what's my best bet if I start looking two days before the game.

I appreciate the help.

I have 2 tickets for the game tomorrow that I won through a William Hill poker tournament - I was going to go with my dad, but unfortunately he has fallen ill and my son is just too young (he's only 4).  So I'm wondering if there's anyone who might want to buy them on here?  The alternative is for me to tout them outside the ground - which I'd rather not do...

Don't have them in my hand yet as they are being sent via courier today so will have more details then.  Also not sure if there is some VIP stuff attached like a meal etc - waiting on Will Hills to confirm.
