UEFA Champions League Group Stage Draw

Well in the celebration of making it to the group stage and getting our ball into the hat. It is time to think about the potential side we could be facing in the group stage.

First Group : Chelsea , Manchester Utd, Arsenal , Liverpool, Barcelona, R.Madrid, Lyon, Inter

Second Group : Roma, Porto, Sp.Lisboa, W. Bremen, Villareal, Juventus, Schalke 04, B.Munich, PSV

Third Group: Fiorentina, Panathinaikos, Dynamo Kyiv, .Marseille Shakhtar, Steaua, Fenerbahçe, Celtic

Fourth Group: Basel, Zenit, CFR Cuij, Bordeaux, Athletic Madrid, BATE, Anorthosis, Aab

I am not 100% sure about the groupings but I use a ranking on-line.

So who would you like?

I'd like a.madrid to see Garcia return to Anfield,PSV and Marseille would do nicely.

We can't get them in the group stages. We however play them here on 13th September.

CFR Cuij (Who I have absolutely no idea who they are)

If we get one of these teams in our group i will be very wary because of how good Liege turned out to be

Couldn't give a toss who we get or who we don't get because the truth is EVERY side in Europe will be fearful of getting us. Our performances in Europe this year may not have installed a great deal of belief within the fans but other clubs will see us winning when playing badly, plus our form over the last three or four years in this competition will worry sides.

I'm sick and tired of us fearing sides, let them fear for us for once.

Cuij and Steau are both Romanian clubs so your dream group can't happen

I agree and I don't!

After this season's outings, any European side must have an ounce of belief against us. Yet, as we all know, we can beat anyone on our day. And those days usually start with Champions League music!

Fingers crossed it's the latter because our performance tonight isn't going to do us much good in terms of our reputation.

And personally I would like PSV, Fiorentina and Anorthosis (because they sound more like a scientific reaction than a football team! )

Im of the belief that we are better off drawing 3 good sides rather then the likes of Bate as we drop our performance or raise it depending on the opposition.

From pot 4 theres actually none I wouldnt like to meet, except Fiorentina maybe, their gear is really ugly. :

From pot 3, hmm.. a bit worse. The UEFAcup winners can be tough I guess. And then if we could, I wouldnt mind not drawing any of the french teams, Marseille or Bordeaux, tho Marseille struggled with norwegian (crap) side Brann last night.. Maybe they are
manageable enough for the current LFC

And from pot 2, finally.... Definitely none of the portuguese teams, especially not Porto, hate them so very very much. The same with Juventus, ugh!! And for the germans.... I've always respected german fooball, so, nah.... If I'm gonna go for the easiest way to the Stadio Olimpico, then I'd prefer no german team in our group. The same for Villareal, they can be tricky.. As for Roma, those b***ard barbarians (I may be referring to their fans!), I have nothing to say. Oh... That leaves PSV

Really want Famagusta - it's only an hour away from me.

TBH just glad they got through - whether it's us they draw or not, I should be able to see some top class teams this year.

I want PSV again, wouldnt mind marseille again either and for some reason I want juventus again.

Us vs Atletico would be a good game, im not really keen on facing them though
