I've got to be honest I'm not overwhelmed. I don't know how he performed in Spain, I don't follow football outside of Britain, so I can only go on his form for Man City which was little less than useless. He showed nothing as to why another Premiership club would want him. So my initial reaction isn't exactly one of great joy however I hope he has come on since those days at City. I hope he is the answer to our left wing problems.

If he kicks off in Greece the way he carried on here they will shoot the pr**k, there are a number of Liverpool supporters in Greece so his previous will be common knowledge - if there's one thing that doesn't fit in Greece it's insincerity which shithead has in abundance.

So we lost £4.5 million on the lad, £3.3 million is a snip for a lad with 20 caps for Spain whether is a pr**k or not kinda reminds me of the Arbeloa deal last year. We are undervaluing our players.

 We now have a net spend of £7.8 million that is not including the £6.5 million made in January from the sale of Dossena and Voronin.

Riera is not worth much more than that in all fairness at the moment. The lad has hardly played due to being an utter tosser, and that counts in value. And Arbeloa only had a year left on his contract, hardly undervalued.

I'm just glad to see his name off our list. F**k off.
