What a shitbag!! First there were reports that the muted deal with Spartak had broken down over "personal terms" and now he says he didn't really mean what he is purported to have said about LFC and the manager.
The phrase "personal terms" in that context usually means  that a/ they are not offering enough money or b/ the prospective club want no more to do with him, either way it is a negative reflection on the player whose feet must be shredded with the multiple gunshot wounds inflicted on them.

Albert Riera is in danger of being left in limbo at Liverpool after Spartak Moscow ruled out a move for the winger.

The outspoken Spaniard has been told that he has no future at Anfield after a verbal attack against the managerial techniques of Rafa Benitez.

Two weeks ago it appeared that Riera was set to join Spartak on loan as the Russian transfer window is still open, but the deal collapsed.

The 27-year-old has since attempted to regain the faith of Benitez, however, the Liverpoolboss has stated that there is no way back.

Riera, though, could be forced to wait until the summer for a move, with Spartak Moscowmanager Valery Karpin saying in the Daily Mail: "I can tell you why the transfer didn't happen.

"Riera wanted to go to Spartak to hit the jackpot. We made him understand that this wouldn't happen with us.

"I can say there will be no acquisitions before the transfer window closes."
