      Release Date: 14th November 2008

Available for pre-order from Zavvi here

2 Trailers have come out for Football Manager 2009, Here they are

3D pitch will be awesome as you can check if your goals really was offside, Female Manager is a good addition. I like the Trial days where you take a look at a youngster, Erm the transfer rumours section is good and its looking like a fantastic game, Loads of new additions compared to last years game

      Your thoughts?

Female Manager addition is great. I started to think I was a bloke there for a while.

I love the 2D pitch. Is it still an option? There's something completely nerdy about it.

Bloody hell. My addictiveness rating on the current version is 'Putting your undies inside out is a great time saver' or something like that which made me laugh so i cant even start to imagine what it'll be on the new version.

How good is it to see a gaming company actually seek perfection and listen to all problems while accomodating for all buyers unlike Fifa.

Cannot wait for this boss game.

my girlfriend still regrets buying me last years.

she knew i loved them from previous years so thought it'd be a great present. she was right but as it was a present i felt obliged to play even more than usual.

Im hoping my girlfriend does'nt notice that you can be a female manager on the game because knowing my luck that will be when she takes an interest in football resulting in me never being able to play it :-\ :D

I hope you're allowed to score goals from corners on this one and they're not always going to be disallowed because of a foul. Annoyed me on FM 08.

      is everyone starting as Liverpool?

I am and I'm gonna try and buy Ashley Young for our right wing problems, might off load four or five as well to bring in some extra bread so I've got the money to bring in an emergancy forward if Torres or Keane get a long term injury.

I always start as Liverpool and usually:

Get a new right back and left back

      Get 2 new wingers

      Get a new striker

Within the first 2 seasons. But it depends on how good Dossena and Arbeloa are this season, and Babel and Reira

I'm puttin Darby and Insua in straight away mag if they're fit. Dossena will have to wait and Arbeloa is just back up.

Might look to offload Benayoun, Kuyt, Aurelio, Lucas, Intandje. Should bring in somewhere between 12 and 18 million for a new forward.

Haha the line about the guy saying "I lost a girlfriend over it" sort of sums up this game really.

Thats Jon McClure from Reverend and the Makers :D

I'm going to start as Liverpool. Sell as many deadwood as possible and bring in two wingers.
