Football Manager 2009

Just started a new career but was bored of going the same old teams in the same old leagues.

I decided to take the Sao Paulo job in the Brazilian league and my god am I happy I did. I am top of the league after 11 games and 4 points clear of Corinthians. Just bought Aaron Mclean from Peterborough for 500k.

The main reason I wanted to manage in Brazil was just for the fact that there is so many hidden gems in this game and thought I would check a few out in South America.

I challenge you FM'ers to try a new game in unknown league and see how fun it can be when you don't know the majority f teams/players.

Would'nt it be better to start off in a random league?

Brazilian league has some amazing players. Go to Sao Paulo and look for a midfielder called Hernanes. They have some quality players for less than £1m. It's better when you have the league open too because you can see who is doing well.

Pretty sure you can. I versed them in a friendly so i'm sure you can find them somewhere. Just have all leagues in England open.

Right, I have £38M to spend with Liverpool with their current real life squad, so I need a striker.

Can anyone suggest someone available in the region of £10-15M and good enough to play for me?

Also, could I get some help on what position to buy after the striker, like I said, with the current real life LFC squad.
