Agreed. I've got a mate who's very pro-PRO and even he conceded it last season.

Liverpool being licensed will help matters though. Anfield on it, with a proper name! Should be a good year for footy games.

Shocking. How Codemasters got the license off each of the football clubs involved, then didn't have the nous to include each kit/stadium in all varieties of the game. Plus the gameplay was..... sh*te. No other way of dressing it up, it was awful.

The same day that the Pro Evo demo arrives on the PlayStation store.

Demo now in the PS Store.  Unfortunately it seems to be taking forever to download.  Knew I should have done it before everyone got home from work!

Never have been a fan of PES, but might try to download this. Gotta see it.

i personally think pro evo beats fifa anyday, but then and again everyone has there own opinion.

Me mate downloaded the demo (I couldn't be arsed, I just bought FIFA ) and he said the gameplay isn't much improved on last year and the players look wooden.

Plus FIFA is amazing again this year!

I didn't even bother. Rather download Bioshock to tide me over until I buy it!

The demo isn't a patch on the game to be fair though. The actual game feels much smoother and we've been laughing during our 10 a side online matches too!

Pro Evo is out today by the way.

pes graphics are CRAP, although the gameplay is very good, but i think fifa has at last caught it up and taken over it.... merseyside red my arse

Good god its poor isnt it! the players look weird as everyones like 7ft. They all run like stick men. The shooting is so very poor. The passing is deleyed. I think it sounds terrible! like STFU crowd annoying.

I prefare PES6 on the PS2.. thats how bad it is

Only good thing about PES so far , not to keen on the YNWA remix music though :S downloaded it ages ago and thought it was like.... disrespectful almost

FIFA this year is far greater than Pro Evo.

Me mate consistently raved about PRO, even though FIFA 08 was much better last year.

He bought PRO 09, played 4 matches and traded it in for FIFA 09 saying how unbelievably better FIFA is.

Game set and match for me that!

Got addicted to it too! Although I'll be a bit ahead of you, I'm in the starting line-up for Newcastle at CMF!

This game is SOOOOOO crap, ive got it ont eh pc.

problems with it...... its F***ing impossible to score, i usually put it on teh middle diff level, and the defenders are like perfect robots who tackle the forwards without faul every time...had to put it down to ameture. 

shooting is a joke..... any touch less than 100 mili seconds and the striker always b aloons it over the bar

FIFA is so much better....never thought i would say this

tactics are its only good point...as games can be very very practical

i hate this game, maybe if i studied what each button does in more detail i could warm to it...but its the superb fifa 09 for me this year...thank you EA its in teh game alright

Some of us had that problem in our FIFA 09 team.

I've tried Fifa 09 and although it has much better features, presentation and online, I still think Pro Evo edges it on gameplay, It's always the most fluid and realistic. I'm still considering which game to buy next year though,being able to play in 10v10 sounds pretty amazing, What's playing on te LFC reds team like then?

I just installed the latest patch for this game. It gives you all the latest Transfers etc. But best of all it has our new away Jersey and our fans sing our latest songs like the Torres one and Gerrard's big and f**king hard song. How these boys do this is beyond me.

I started a Become A Legend mode a couple of days ago, just completed my first season. Started with Stoke City, scoring 3 goals in 10 games beofre I got a move to West Ham where I really excelled and got 5 man of the match awards in 13 games, scoring 7 goals and chipping in with 3 assists also.

Then I moved to Fulham. Every new club is a step closer to LFC.

Started a master league with Liverpool the other day 2-1 down to pes united in the cup with my reservers and in the last tem minutes pulled off a 3-2 win

Got knocked out of the cup, still top of the league...loaned out Voronin and loaned in Sneijder and also brought in Olic

4 games left and if I win my next one I will win the league
