      Fave film soundtrack
      Sep 19, 2008 11:01:33 pm
I've been listening to the "This Is England" soundtrack (hence the last two songs in song association are both off that album) and was wondering what everyone's fave film (movie) soundtrack is.

This Is England is a boss soundtrack with the reggae and ska music it has then gets ruined by Strawberry Switchblade and Soft Cell but it's still one of me faves. Quadrophenia is me fave film but it's soundtrack isn't a fave, although it is very good with some of the best songs on it by The Who. Me all time fave soundtrack is by The Who though and it's McVicar. Film is boss and soundtrack even better, even if it's only 10 songs and two of them are instrumentals. There's not one song on that album I skip.

      So for me it's McVicar.

Anybody else have a fave soundtrack?

Stand By Me from the film Stand By Me. Ben E King singing the song, classic. Really like that song.

The music in The Great Escape is boss an all but then again the entire film is boss.

You've been to see Madness? Lucky so and so. I love so many of their songs. Speaking of which, I've got Baggy Trousers on youtbue now. One of those bands you can't help but sing along to, their songs are so catchy.

I see you couldn't name just one MsG.

Grey Day is me dad's fave and It Must Be Love is me mam's fave although she's not too keen on Madness. She's more a rocker with her Guns N Roses and Meatloaf and the Rocky Horror Picture show. Since this is soundtracks, Rocky Horror deserves it's place in here, but I watched it once and thought it was sh*te.
