I'm from Co Armagh, which is known as the Orchard County, and i'm a Red.
I had this great idea to combine the two, and the result was Orchard Red. Genius or what??

Interesting probably only to me and you...my mother's (French-Canadian) family came from Armagh, Quebec, Canada. It's a tiny little village out in the hills about 40 miles from Quebec City. My dad's side is Irish from Co Mayo. Here's Armagh:

I'm Welsh so I went with a former red who is welsh. So instead of going with the obvious legends Tosh and Rush I went with the lad who played from 1921-1924 and I think scored six goals in 17 games.

Mine's actually quite simple.

Hoya- means how's it (a slang word) we use here in Cape Town.
Red- that's self explanatory.

Think I posted before in here, but F**k it.

Higgy = Nickname (surname is Higgins)
Sham = a slang word used around my town, which is the equivalent of 'mate'

What an interesting and quite strange thread this is

Anyways, a good few years ago I used to play Counter Strike on the pc (religiously) and ended up in many a "Clan", one in perticular had a girl in, and we got talking and the old story of "she liked me, I liked her..she had a fella.....ect"  and she kinda told him about me, which was strange, so to stop arguments between them, I changed my name so I could still play with her (think what you will there ) and she wouldnt get any agro from him, and BL00D was the first thing to pop into my head, and Ive kept it now for a good 10 years now, And its good that blood is red also
