      Fave actor/actress
      Sep 24, 2008 02:22:25 pm
Mine has got to be Richard Attenborough. Best role he played was Roger "Big X" Barlett in the Great Escape but some of his other films like "the guinea pig" (on film 4 now) "Dunkirk", "I'm Alright Jack" and "Jurisac Park" are boss as well.

Who is everyone else favourite actor/actress.

You couldn't remember her bloody name before ;D

Boring I'm afraid, Love most things with Bob De Niro and early Michael Cain stuff you know The Billion Dollar Brain and Get Carter, Not i repeat Not Jaws 28 or whatever it was. Oh and anything with Sid James in.

For my lady film stars i will stick to films where they have clothes on (mostly) and go with Uma Thurman and Angelina Jolie but if im honest i dont know if its purely for their acting ability. ::)

I like John Malkovic as well in Con Air and Being John Malkovic.

I'm actually struggling to find a actress so I'll say Dawn French just for comedy reasons.

As for tv actors, can't beat Hugh Laurie in House or and love James Spader and William Shatner in Boston Legal :D

Can't think of an actress for acting reasons so I'll just go for Halle Berry or Angelina Jolie.  Also Evangeline Lilly from Lost but only because she's gorgeous.

minder - that was legendary. Still watch it to this day when it's on. Arthur, Terry, Dave, Chislom, Jones, Rycott all make me laugh. Just love that show. Porridge will always be me fave though with Fools and Horses coming second.

John Le Mesuier is another of me fave actors, got him in loads of the black and white films. And when he plays Sgt. Wilson in Dad's Army just has me in stitches.

Gotta mention Alastair Simms, Terry Thomas and Ian Carmichael as well. Some more of Britain's finest.

There's too many!! Off the top of my head.

Christopher Walkin - think he's a great actor.

Steve Buscemi - more comedy now but that's a good thing too!

Adam Sandler - just because he's really good at cheesy comedies.

Harvey Keitel - another great actor.

Forest Whitaker - Another great great actor.

John Simm - Thought he was great in Human Traffic then he done the business in Life On Mars. Would like to see him step up a level.

Tom Cruise - His performance in Vanilla Sky blew me away.

      Uma Thurman - Great actress

Sigourney Weaver - Another great actress

Cameron Diaz - Comedy but can be good serious as well.

Drew Barrymore - She's just boss.

Helena Bonham Carter - Another great actress

One who hasn't cropped up yet (bit surprised especially by the girls on the forum) is Danny Dyer. I know he's a bit too cockney but some of his films are alright. Severance and Outlaw are good. Footy facotry, the buisness and mean machine are ok but nothing special.

Nicolas Cage (City of Angels, Gone in 60 Seconds, Leaving Las Vegas, Face/Off. He is amazing. Probably the best actor. Ever.)
Tom Hanks (for Forrest Gump alone!)
Samuel L. Jackson (guess hes been in all the good/funny/crazy films... Like Brad Pitt kind of.)
So... Brad Pitt too then! (Snatch, Fight Club, 7 Years in Tibet, True Romance (looove it!) Ocean's 11/12/13, Seven)
Johnny Depp (Edward Scissorhands, Whats Eating Gilbert Grape, Chocolat, Donnie Brasco, F***ing Once Upon a Time in Mexico -its just awesome! Fear and Loathing and Pirates of the Caribbean. And yeah: He. Is. Hot!)

Natalie Portman (Leon, Closer, Star Wars)
      Drew Barrymore (just love her)
