Ticket News: Liverpool v Atletico Madrid (4th November 2008)
      Sep 30, 2008 05:09:28 pm
      Hi
I just got my tickets for the PSV game tomorrow night and was hoping to get tickets for the atletico home game on Nov4
I will be away (holiday) from Oct14-28 and I need to know when:
They will announce ticket details on the website
      &
When tickets will go on sale (if at all) for fancard holders with the PSV game on their fancard
I think they should as it says ticket sales are likely to be based on 08/09 CL home games and PSV will be the only 08/09 CL home game before atletico
Thanks a lot if you can help me

I knew they would definitely be on sale while i am on holiday but if the dates of sale were at least announced before i went i could find out when they are on sale for fancard holders who have the PSV home match recorded on their fancard. I could give my fancards to someone to get me tickets while i was away. Tickets went on sale  for pts members 20 days b4 the game 2moro so im guessing they got announced the day before that so 21 days b4 that game is 14th october the day i go on holiday.
Is it possible i could buy them while i was away? All i would need would be a credit card, my fancard info and a phone.
All the better if i could get them in an online sale (do CL games go to an online sale?)
I appreciate any suggestions on how to get these tickets
      Thanks

Information about the game I meant.

Suggestions? An understanding friend who'll go down for you with your fancard.

Or obviously yep - waiting at the end of the telephone.

Hi, i´m from Madrid, a Liverpool fan and Atletico season card holder.

This match in Anfield is so especial for me.

I was one time in Anfield, but that day are no match.

Here in Madrid there is no Tickets on sale, only travel+ tickets option, my club lie to me and other atleticos fan that will travel for his own and no sell tickets separately.

I only want to ask, if someone cant go to this match, he is so nice to sell me 2 tickets at the value price(I read the rules of the forum). Make me very happy. Its a incomparable match for me.

Sorry for my English, this year we can win the premier!!!

      Thanks!

As my PM, Postal application is your best option if you are out of the country. you have nothing to lose, you can still attempt tickets via the usual routes as well. If PSV is the starting point for ticket allocation you should be guaranteed tickets as postal applications will be done before they go to fancard holders only.

Failing that leave you card details and fancard info with a friend.

with out the aid of a crystal ball thats the best advice I can give.

This is a sad post, out of all the C L games this is the one I wanted to see the most, I know I have got 3 tickets for this game, but as luck goes, I am off to Malta on the 4th, dinner time flight, so DAMM wont be there, I will just have to find a good bar to watch it, nice, but not the same.

Sorry I have no tickets for sale, all of a sudden I'm Mr nice guy to my family and friends.  ;D

so basically saying, you need to buy a membership to be able to get tickets right?
      off this page: http://www.liverpoolfc.talent-sport.co.uk/PagesPublic/ProductBrowse/productMembership.aspx?
can this membership be used for any game btw?

Membership is only the start, some matches need previous attendance as this one will, if you have not got the psv game registered against your fancard or membership you are unlikely to get a ticket for this match all though this has not been confirmed as yet.

purchasing criteria can be found on this board when it becomes available or on the official site

What is the F***ing point in PTS sales? You don't have to do F***ing anything and your guaranteed a ticket.
I couldn't get 3 home games on my fancard last season how the F**k am i supposed to get games like this

Don't panic Yet I was pissed off when I saw ticketing details aswell, but if you read through all sales include having PSV registered therefore there will have to be an additional sale as if you and I have the psv credit like many others on our fancards without being able to meet the above requirements the seats will still be available after the initial sale

so providing PSV is used in the additional sale we should still get one, I suppose if Athletico take up a larger ticket allocation than PSV did we may still miss out
