      Anyone Any Good At Drawing/Painting?
      Oct 04, 2008 12:11:31 pm
I loved drawing and painting as a kid, though don't really have the time nowadays to do much. I aren't bad, got a B at A-Level, but was wondering if anyone else on the forum was really good.

My favourite materials were sketching pencils, paint, as well as chalk or charcoal.

Most of the stuff I've done is back in England, though I have done a painting of a tiger since I've been in France (below). If you've done anything you're proud of, why not whack it on this thread! ;)

Thats a cool painting Ayrton and one of my favourite subjects as well - cats !!  I'm not that talented myself  >:(  My brother got all the artistic genes in our family  ;)

He's a graphic designer and works designing greetings cards and loads of other stuff, he does a lot at home as well but I haven' t got any to show you unfortunately.

Keep up the good work (if you've got time now  ;))   Maybe you could paint a couple of the Liverpool Squad  ;) ;D

Ayrton, that is fantastic mate! Brilliant.

I was basically average in school. Like Smiggs says, I think the artistic gene went to my sister. She was brilliant, just like yourself.

I'll see if I can get a picture up sometime.

I am absolutely hopeless at drawing and painting  :(

But my daughter is brilliant, like you Ayrton she has drawn a tiger picture, which takes pride of place on the wall of the Lounge, she also did a British Bulldog with the London scene in the background for her GCSE coursework, I will take a picture of them both and post them up here.

But that is truly outstanding Ayrton  :gt-happyup:

Would be nice to draw your three children  ;D if you could get them to sit still long enough  ;)

Never been able to draw, wasn't even average. Come to think of it calling me sh*t at drawing is a compliment.

Boss drawing though ayrton, good lad.

You lot just don't have enough confidence!  ::)

JD - your pic of Rafa is great, when you think it took you like 2 minutes or something! Same for Watt, plus drawing on a computer is a lot more difficult I would think!

Can't wait to see some of your drawings 7-KK-7, and DLS too - you're creative at writing so I'm sure you're not that bad!

my keyboard is of the wireless type and sometime it does miss a button.
to answer your queries if thats what you call them in this pc age

do you hear paint, ..... erm no unless it falls off a ladder and hits you on the noggin

her paint is not at all related to painting with hair, which could be painful, messy and ineffective

here paint , is probably to do with, painting here, that is within the internet, which is rather tricky, considering it just consists of electrons, which dont easily paint unless they are used to bombard a Cathode ray tube, which could in theory produce a colour effect.

what i was trying to say before i was hijacked by the sarcastic spelling police is

      can anybody paint.
