      No, I'm sh*te.

      But I can write.

      And I can rhyme.

And I'm glad Merseycare gives you Internet to ease your time.

I got an F for art GCSE. But that was what I expected. But I did one painting that was properly boss. I knew it would be boss because I knew exactly what I wanted it to be. It was a great big thing. At the bottom was a skyline - a black cityscape. Hanging above that, huge huge huge, was a great big three dimensional elongated triangle, painted with watercolour blue so it looked like a huge triangular sphere filled with water. For the sky that filled the rest of the painting I used powder paints to create a thick orange/red colour. Close to the skyline was dark red and it lightened as it went up into the sky. But hanging in the middle of this fire was a huge sphere of water that could put the fire out. Except it's cased in glass. And smashing this huge sphere would rain down glass as well as water on the burning city below.

      It was titled 'Impending Danger'.

Ayrton started a thread a while back that was F***ing boss! If I can find it, I'll merge it.

      Good on you though Robby.

I loved drawing and painting as a kid, though don't really have the time nowadays to do much. I aren't bad, got a B at A-Level, but was wondering if anyone else on the forum was really good.

My favourite materials were sketching pencils, paint, as well as chalk or charcoal.

Most of the stuff I've done is back in England, though I have done a painting of a tiger since I've been in France (below). If you've done anything you're proud of, why not whack it on this thread! ;)

The standards are set. Not sure anyone are gonna beat Ayrton and Watt though.

      Give it a whack, robby.

Nice to see this thread reappear, even if I don't have the time to produce the kind of artwork I used to.

Ah, the good old days, when I could spend dozens of hours on one piece of work. It's a shame when money becomes a priority over art. :(

      Just about to upload some.

There's not many, just odd pics taken from my sketch books mainly. The bigger bits I think are either in the attic or over at my dads still.

I was quite good as a child. Wanted to draw comic books when I grew up and shockingly, my father pushed me towards it. Sadly, being the contrary pr**k of a teenager that I was, it's probaby why I'm not drawing for a living.I will see about posting some sketches.

Feck sake this is not going well. How do I re-size them because they are way too big?

      EDIT: Never mind, sorted it.
