Awesome 147 from Hendry, especially that 3 ball plant then the pink at the end to get on the black.  Always liked Hendry, even when he was winning everything...anybody with a Jack Bauer ringtone is cool  8)

My favourite player, John Higgins is locked in another fantastic battle with Mark Selby.  To come back from 3-0 down after seeing your opponent knock in 3 centuries in a row to level at 4-4 just shows amazing grit and determination.  Would love to see him or Allen win.

Well there goes my F***ing Hendry prediction, doesn't it?! ::)

Still, he's looking good, and I expect him to be challenging for yet more titles.

Allen 12-11 up against Day. Be a scrappy game.

I'm sad that Stephen Hendry has gone out, he played well and I really like him. Shame  :(

Still got it though after all these years, I'm sure he'll come back strong as ever.

Higgo's name is on this tournament. After his comebacks against Cope and now Selby, it's just written for him.

Although Allen is a good player, I don't think Higgins will be too disappointed to have him in the semis. Murphy/Robertson will be a good match I reckon.

Must be the first time for a long time to see four players from four different countries in the semi's of the World's. England, Scotland, N.Ireland and Australia all represented in the last four this year.

The standard of the matches so far have been outstanding, just hope the last four can be as good if not better. Plus it's one table now which I think the players all enjoy.

He'd be under the table playing with Michaela's Tabbs if he had his way mate.  ;)

Allen's potting has been great, Higgins' safety has been great in this opening frame, good start to the match.

4-4 at the end. Murphy was plain childish when he won't let Robertson get his extension, which he had left in his dressing room.

      Cracking  game though.

Cracking frame between Murphy and Robertson there. Robertson should've won, made mistakes and Murphy got back into it to clear up and force a respotted black.
Robertson had to play the 1st shot, messed it up and Murphy attempted the long pot successfully.
      6-4 to Murphy
