Watching Selby reduce that frame to 50 minutes of trying to find snookers has reduced me to this.

Just watched most of the semi-final between Ronnie and Marco Fu. Wow, what a match!

Ronnie was amazing and had to change his tip after three frames. John Parrot and Steve Davies both in awe of how well he played with a new tip. He has just said afterwards that was his best ever victory.

      Brilliant match!

The perfect antidote to a dreadful football game! That was top quality - shame it wasn't the final. Delighted that Ronnie is through to another final! Had to pull out a top performance there, Marco Fu looked brilliant in recent weeks!

What an incredible semi final in the snooker. 12-12 in the Ding v Selby semi final at the crucible. Sensational by both players!

Not for me.  I think he plays some of the most aggressive shots which people forget about.  I'm talking about plants, doubles.  That shot from the pink when he went into to the pack off 2 cushions, ding would have probably played safe.  That shot on the yellow where the cue ball was tight to the black was truly awesome even Hendry was drooling.  The thing is when his opponent get into a momentum he has the tactics of stopping them, from containing to aggressive safety's, he just out think them, which makes him the best player in the world awesome match player.  When he goes for the big shots he gets them and punishes his opponent,

World Championship kicks off tomorrow. O'Sullivan must be considered. The Jester from Leicester Mark Selby, although he shows very little jesterism to be fair. Ronnie 9/4..Selby 4-1.

Not great odds but turned down Jon Rahm at 4-1 to win the Spanish open and he won 400% profit but I stood back because the odds didn't look great for a 4 day comp.

Might just go match by match but Selby might be the man.

God, please not Selby again. Hope he goes crashing in the first, then we can be set for a decent two weeks of snooker. Makes Peter Ebdon look like Hurricane Higgins.

Might get your wish! Perry two frames away from knocking him out.

Ding putting in a shocker of a session against Hawkins I see. Sometimes I wonder whether he'll ever win the World Championships.

      Yep.

Heard the score this afternoon and didn't think I'd get to see much snooker this evening but looks like this one will go to the wire.

It was so lovely to see Mark Williams on top of the snooker world once more last night. Even more nice was that the match was played against his old friend and rival John Higgins and to a standard that was unbelievable and probably the best I've seen - completely fitting for a final featuring two of the greatest there has ever been and ever will be. I remember when Mark last played in the final against Doherty in 2003 and I can't not get all nostalgic and remember where I was, the longer evenings and the run down to the last weeks of school so it was quite emotional to see him, at least, return to a moment he last had all those years back.

Nice to see him keeping his word that he wasn't going to stop drinking until the sun came up this morning (oh and doing his final press conference starkers...not so nice! :D ). Just goes to show that if you succeed big at something then always take the time to enjoy it, cos you never know when the next one will come around!

Bingham recovered well to take the final frame.

      Enjoyed that one.

Higgins v Gilbert gone to a deciding frame. 16 all.

After watching Higgo yesterday, I didn't see this happening because he was F***ing awful.

Gilbert to break in the decider.

Poor safety from Gilbert but looks like he's got away with it.
