Fantastic to watch, glad I got to.
Allen played great snooker throughout the match except the last two frames, which saw him go from 5-4 up to losing 6-5. He was taking on pots that were nearly impossible to make and when you only need that final frame those more difficult pots become even harder. His safety in the last frame wasn't bad and he was unlucky for Selby to pot a red when getting out of a snooker.
Well played to Selby, looks the real deal and he's only 24. Maybe worth a punt for the World's. Really like Selby as a player because he seems to enjoy himself while he's playing. Anybody who doesn't like snooker, should sit down and watch this match.
It was as good as it got in terms of scoring, now I expect another top class game between Higgo and Ding. Maybe a tad more tactical with someone like Higgins playing, but Ding is another of the young generation who take on every pot. I'm just about to settle down to it. So lets get the boys on the baize
