A very scrappy frame that both men had chances to win but in the end Selby claws another back and goes to just three behind once more.

Selby broke off, left the long red as is so often the case nowadays and Brecel knocked it in and didn't look back as he made his fourth century of the day.

This frame also had prime example Ken Doherty being sh*t as a commentator. Brecel's on a red into the middle and Doherty says something along the lines of "could play for the blue but maybe yellow or brown would be better...no he's playing for the blue...oh he's played for the pink"

Another scrappy frame to end this afternoon's play, where both of them had chances and neither could really get the job done but with his third or fourth chance, Luca held his nerve and made a fantastic frame winning break. And he's taken the session 6-2 to extend his lead up to five frames.

Brecel has brezzed through the tournament. Just potted everything in sight. Hope he goes on to win, just needs 3 but yer never know what the winning line can do to players. Selby can't change the way he plays but he can pressure Brecel and cut him off at the pass.

After a re-rack, Selby gets in first in the 30th frame and makes a 50 break before getting a positional shot completely wrong. Got straight back in after another wild attempt at a pot from Brecel and was able to clinch the frame. Four on the spin and the comeback continues.

Not at all mate. As the "experts" all say, there's one man you don't want chasing you then it's Mark Selby. He's just relentless. He's also had help from Luca who isn't getting anywhere near the long pots at the minute and leaving him an easy starter.

A nice fluke here and there never hurt when you need them to go your way and Mark Selby had a huge slice of luck with the opening red in this frame. After that though was pure talent from him both in break building and safety. A fifth consecutive frame to get to within one of Luca.

Don't think he's been level in the match since it was 0-0 so to be on the verge of sixteen all is some achievement. Still has one frame to go to complete the comeback. But it looks like Brecel's head has gone here.

Didn't win the frame in his first visit to the table but a good break of 50 followed by a sensible safety shot. And an uncharacteristic poor safety from Selby gave Brecel a second chance. Good red, didn't land nicely on a colour so again played a sensible safety shot.

Which the man from Leicester didn't get so it's the first frame for a while for Brecel. And now just one away from being World champion.
