Glad ye sister is on the mend mate, heres to a full recovery  :ernaehrung004: :ernaehrung004:

      Thanks fella

I could give her a hand building the muscles in her legs and helping her get used to bending over again.

I'm sure it will take time - unsused muscles start to atrophy, so there'll be more damage to repair than she ever imagined, or it ever could look from the outside. Is she having physio?

Yeah she starts hydrotherapy later this week I think, think she has to wait until around 7 days after the operation. Don't know if she will then just have normal physiotherapy at any point or not.

As long as you don't touch her feet then help away, touch them and she'll knock your teeth right out

I'll leave it to the experts mate! Hydrotherapy sounds like an excellent way of building the muscles evenly and quickly.

Pretty minor but just recovered from quite a nasty knee twist myself....doesnt help when i slipped on my arse in town on New Year. Walk in centre said its a sprain, but work doctors said i had over stretched ligaments & torn a tendon in my left knee.....wasnt nice whatsoever

Have you ever slipped off the seat of your mountain bike and banged the bottom of your spine on the crossbar?

Happened to me years ago. Had a terrible pain in my neck but didn't know what it was. Turned out it was from that. My spine had been jolted up and had ripped through a muscle in my neck. They put me on steroids to fix that. Didn't help my neck though. Just made me grow a monster penis. Think swordfish.

My sister rode one of her horses again today, nothing silly but nice and easy sort of thing. She has driven in the last couple of days too, again nothing silly but enough to start getting back into the swing of it. Best part is that she felt absolutely no pain or discomfort.

Thanks you 2 :) Been nearly a month since the operation now i think and it has gone so quick when think back so she just has to keep it slow and steady no matter how frustrating it is when you feel as if you can just get on but in another months time she will be a lot better and will be glad she has been taking it steady. Starts her Hydro therapy in about a week i think.

Got something weird going on with my knee at the moment.

Feels funny in the morning and then for the rest of the day it's fine.

Went to the local hospital to arrange a date for my operation, will have it done ASAP after my exams which finish in mid June. Then I'll finally be able to breath properly. :D

Ankles hurting like a right bi*ch right now - was playing central defender today in footy, and when i was attempting to stop the striker he accidentally planted a foot on mine, right on the ankle. And this is the same ankle i completely fu**ed up playing tennis 2 and half years ago, ruptured ligaments and all that, so shes really feeling it now.

Been icing it a lot and all that, F***ing sore though!

b***ard got through and scored too :D Ended a 2-2 draw, and i made a couple goal-chance saving tackles so i was pretty happy. My first time EVER playing 11v11 full-pitch footy it was. Thinking if i get my fitness up a bit i may actually be a half decent defender, i enjoyed it. Loving my T90's as well ;D

As for now, just happy theres no footy until monday - ankle needs some recovery time!

Dislocated my thumb playing footy today, the pain wasn't bad but I nearly crapped myself when I looked at my thumb.

You're not supposed to use your hand playing footy. :f_tongueincheek:
