Big loss for LFC when he came back into the side our defence become solid and we started to lose less and conceed less goals, this is not by fluke but by Sakho being the powerhose we needed paired with experiance of Skrtel and technical ability of CAN, he's our 1st Choice CB partner for Skrtel that's a fact. his season pretty much over now no point risking him in 4 weeks for the sake of 3 games if the current back line is doing ok but he will be back there again come next season just not sure how we will line up.

Anyone heard anything about a new contract for Sakho yet? Think his runs out end of next season, same time as Henderson's (before today) and Ibe'..?

You know he is thinking..who's room could I put this little guy in and scare the sh*t out of them.

Is it just me or this lad is trying to outdo skrtel in scoring from set pieces. Like the look of them targeting him in the preseason. Extra goal threat which we missed last season.

Still needs to improve on his composure with ball distribution, seems to still panic on the ball when put under pressure. We should be preparing to be pressed by other teams at the back this season, this was our main undoing last season.

This annoys the F**k out of me.
People judge him on his admittedly ungainly style rather than watching how he actually plays.

Just because he looks awkward, doesn't mean he is.
He's actually a very good passer with an extremely high completion rate.
I know that people are going to say "that's because he always passes sideways" but again, this just isn't true.

Most of them just see a bandwagon and jump straight on it.
There was none worse than townsend, and the gobs***e itv commentator he worked with. At least they're gone now, but still the overall level of decent analysis is dreadful.

He can be, although he does worry me sometimes.  Last night he gave the ball away cheaply twice in the first five minutes, but then didn't put a foot wrong after that.
