I agree with many on here about Benteke, but thats 3 1on1's he has missed that spring to mind... Reality is, for 35 Million he should be putting those away.

Did that cost us the game, in my opinion at 1:3 they would have folded.

A £30 million + striker should be putting one on ones away. Facht.

Its a bummer going into the international break with that result .

think we went into the game (like many others) with the wrong attitude.

making Flanno captain was wrong in so many ways - we have devalued the captains armband this season with the volume of people who have worn the armband

I disagree mate, we absolutely murdered them first half, no one had any complaints about wrong attitude or Flanno being captain at half time.

poor decision making and finishing - this has also been a common theme this season (and last), we have the ball in advanced positions to make so many poor decisions that it can not be considered as unlucky

lack of leaders and winners - we was bullied the in the 2nd half by a team who are lacking confidence

      poor poor poor defense

I saw no evidence of that at all. We lost simply because of a combination of poor finishing, poor defending and poor substitutions. Two of those three have plagued us for almost two years now.

Going by the statistics, has anyone noticed no one in the side, has reached double figures, in scoring goals this season. Even allowing for injuries, this I find truly incredible. On top of our poor defending, little wonder the season seems to be in disarray.

      Quote from HScRed1
No doubt Skrtel was the catalyst for the defensive confidence to suddenly disappear from the players.

In hindsight the Lovren subbing was a disaster as Skrtel dragged the whole defence back another 10 yards.

Skrtel and Long clashed again afterwards on international duty. All it took was 25 minutes for Long to charge forward, Skrtel to charge back, reach the penalty area, crunch time!!

This time the penalty was scored.
