Benitez to be silenced by Chairmen

People seem to be gettin so het up over this one clause. Benitez and his agent probably have their own clauses in the same contract like "The yanks can't undermine me publically" or "a five year deal with the option of another five" and so on.

The only reason this one has leaked out is because the press think it's the one that'll cause most aggro amongst fans, and by the by the reaction on here the press got it spot on (for once).

What if they do? It's up to the players to sign the dotted line, the yanks can't force a player to move. If a player wants to move it's up to the player (with the influence of an agent) not the owner of their current club.

You must be joking, what if they sell all the top stars from underneath him, they are money men pure and simple. Benitez needs an out to get the information into the media to expose their money driven exploits and they know it

You cant just manage a team if you havent got the players to manage and with him silelnced they could blame him when it all turns out wrong and paint a picture of bad management.

Im not on about the purchasing and selling of players being out of benitez's hands. thats his job, to buy and sell players and manage the team. nobody will listen to the yanks. not a chance in hell if everybody had atleast half a brain cell.
