IF we manage to do it, I would think that the bars and pubs in liverpool could be in serious danger of being drunk dry - especially with the bar-codes in town who would be probably more than happy to celebrate with us

I missed our 1990 title win because I was at my mates wedding on 28th April so another mate had my season ticket. Villa were at home the same day and drew with Norwich giving us the title. I thought it was going to the next game (Derby on 1st May) so I took the chance.

If I knew then what I know now there's no chance I would've missed it - and my mate would've agreed and probably would've missed his own weedding (terrible planning anyway). Who'd of though it'd be decades before we were able to make a serious challenge?

One game at a time like always - forget about previous games and play each one on merit. Rodgers saying the right stuff.

We have exceeded expectations already - if we don't win it this time, well its been one hell of ride

I've booked flights over for the weekend. Haven't asked for the Monday off of work yet, gonna leave that til closer to the time. Please God I'll be needing the day to celebrate!

I fully intend to do my bit to drink the town dry.I haven't been drunk since the cup final in 06 when I learned the meaning of being "blind" drunk.

I'm gonna safely say here and now that anyone asking me to "remain calm" and "not get carried away" are barking up the wrong tree entirely - including our own manager.

I'm buzzing and once again I've been carried into about mid-May where I'm watching Liverpool On The Buses with a special guest appearance from the Premiership Title. Me and me arl fella have spent numerous nights talking till the early hours about how we're gonna win it.

Ain't no way I'm staying calm. I'm as excited and nervous as I've been in a long time.

I keep thinking of BR walking into the post-match after the season opener with a smile singing about how we're top o' the league.

Boy oh boy what a memorable season it's turned into since then.

We are top of the league.

If we are top at the end of the month I will start to dream.

If we are top at Christmas I will start to sweat.

If we are top in March I will start to panic.

If we are top in May I will probably have a massive heart attack from the tension.

Roll on my funeral in June.

Had a look at my work calendar and I think I am due to be in Leicester that day but trying to swerve it. I'll get it booked off sometime in the next week I think. Don't want to tempt fate though, this is the problem.
