      You're right mate,
      no player deserves it.
Not even Cristiano Ronaldo of all people.

nice to see that football rivalries finish when the players leave the pitch.

no player deserves to be injured especially as seriously as czech.

shanks would be proud of you!

"I beg to differ" was a reference to Ronaldo, thats why I quoted it in my post, I actually like Cech, he's a great keeper. But I have my own opinion about Ronaldo and its not a very high one. If such a thing was to happen to the winker, I wouldn't loose any sleep over it. Thats just my opinion and I make no appologies for it.

yeah, its not great that this has happened. Out for a year or so u dotn wish on anyone. Guess chelsea will be spending up for a goalie in january. I have it on good authority that they will go after Buffon on a shot term loan for big money from Juve as he is not happy about playing in seriea b... and juve need the cash as their problems have lost them millions...

Get well soon ... Cech n Cudicini, chelski players no doubt, but class keepers.  Really horrible injuries and imagine Cech thought of playing on with a fructured skull!  Lucky he didn't, imagine medical staff didnt stop him, he could well have died on the pitch, also Cudicini who swallowed his tongue!

Never good to see a player in hospital. Best wishes to both players, hope they both recover fully.

Get well soon Cech and Cudicini.  YNWA ;)

      Hope the lad's okay.

To be completely honest it didn't look that bad on TV, Cudicini's looked far worse, but post game it is obvious Cech's was more serious (to do with the difference in first aid reaction??).

Anyway, I don't think the player did it intentionally and some of Chelsea's post-match comments (in particular Jose's) were class-less.

Good luck with the recovery Cech, and may you be back soon, we might have a cup tie against you - you won't want to miss that one!

I hadn't seen it from this angle before.

      Maybe it does look worse.
