As in, I don't think he punched it. I feel it was his natural movement as he jumped, and there were other players under his arm.

MOTD saying he deliberately punched the ball.

Alex Turner? I believe he's definitely O'Reilly from Fawlty Towers.

Phil Neville has replaced Hansen on MOTD, safe to say I won't be watching MOTD until he has gone. I hope they weren't basing that decision on the World Cup where he was god awful. Shearer and Neville, the BBC has sunk to a new low.

After all the complaints received regarding him in the WC and he still bags a punditry job, ridiculous.

Says on the BBC site that he'll be 'balancing out his playing role with QPR and punditry on MOTD' or sth. along those lines.

Well that doesn't sound too professional in either sense the being the footballer sense or being a pundit. Thought most footballers go when they're ineligible for games or are injured. Then again he is going to be hardly any use for QPR.

I agree, but let's be honest: he's way passed it as a player and football pundits in this country are a bunch of clowns. So not really that unusual considering the circumstances.

I'm assuming he'll only be on when QPR haven't played that day? Idk how far Loftus Road is from the studio or how much time they spend preparing the show but that would make most sense.

The sad thing is, despite the obvious pro-manc bias he displayed at the WC, he wouldn't even be the most insufferable one on there. Will also be good for a laugh if scum have another shocker of a season.
