Good team, no excuses tonight. I somehow cant help but think Wigan are the wrong side to play Lucas against. Still, i like the lad in recent weeks.

i cant believe lucas is starting ahead of alonso, this is exactly thed type of game he has being struggling in, a team that will give him no time and space, i really dont think he is suited to this game and think michael brown and lee catemole will be smilling when they see his name on the team sheet, mascherano and lucas have being poor together so far, disappointed to see benyoun also for this one, wigan are a physical side, this game if anything is more suited to kuyt, i think we will struggle again tonight with that team-we really need alonso playing

Agree with Mascher and Lucas but i think Yossi is a good choice, they close very quickly so maybe some more quality in the final third is what we need.

Ahhh F**k sake without Alonso we lack... cohesion in the middle. Lucas just can't cut it, I swear if I spend another 90 minutes shouting at Lucas tonight I won't  be best pleased. Not sure why Babel is still in the team, but maybe this is Rafa saying 'here's your chance Ryan, you gonna take it or not?'. Let's hope he takes it tonight.
