The manager will know the best time to get Stevie involved and as caution seems to be his middle name the chances of Gerrard getting a crack with City are remote,even more so when you look at the form of Benayoun who could could slot in there again with no prob.

We need to take it easy with him.

Leave him out on Saturday and only take him to Madrid if he's 100%. We can't really afford him out again and I'd be happy to see us not get an away goal but get Gerrard fit for the rest of the season.

I have so much confidence in Rafa that I put Benayoun on my fantasy team!  All to say he is the choice player to fill in and I believe its up to him to determine how fresh stevie can get before he gets back in.     This is where a teams depth is tested...  Come on Yossi.

I've never been a big fan but he's really impressed me this season and is starting to win me over. At the end of last season you may have heard me saying that he should be got rid of. Not now, he's proving at the minute that he can contribute a lot to this club.
