The bloke on LFC TV has just said, and I quote:

'Seems like Liverpool will have to make do with what they've got'.

      Very inspiring.

Well we've got more or less the same squad as last year, and they did all right. ;)

Once Aquilani settles in and starts knocking in the goals and assists we'll be pulling away from the chasing pack, you'll see.

I like our centre midfield options, just our attacking options fall abit short. Oh well.

Alright, it's been an uneventful deadline day and a largely disappointing transfer window.

Fin top 4, later stages of champs league, another season of what ifs, seems al to familiar lads.  The sad thing is, if we win nout this year, is Torres really going to be happy staying on for a 4th season, with no real prospect of winning the league?? Im worried, this time next year, spurs and city may well have exceeded us as a club given current investment.  WHY CNT THE FANS BUY THE CLUB AS PROPOSED!!!!

Yanks out! Seriously there needs to be some sort of official protest NO ONE was these two t*ats at the club if they stay everything is only gonna get worse, what exactly have they done for us after everything they promised? no doubt weve lost ground through lack of investment alone which is dangerous considering the money city and even spurs are spending

I don't hold out much hope on us signing anyone in January either. If we have to put up with another summer like this summer next year it won't be if City and Spurs go past us but when.

We have never had a quieter deadline day even when he didn't sign anyone on this day in the past least there were rumours. When you look around Europe and you look what the other big teams have bought. Barc spent big, Real spent big, Inter spent big, Bayern spent big j'ysus even Lyon spent big and you look at us you realise how hard a job Rafa has. Every season the big European clubs spend big that is why they stay the best in there countries.

If we want to stay part of Europes elite the next couple of years we really have to start acting like a big club in the transfer market and the only way for this to happen is getting rid of the owners, that should be our priority this year.

We will see if it is that bad if Stevie or Torres get injured, as long as we get no injuries we should be okay, but if either of them get injured our bench is hardly full of goals.
