Well played Reds! After all the furore over Mascha I thought he was fantastic. As was Benayoun and I thought Kuyt, Ngog and even Lucas were decent tonight. All in all a pretty satisfying result and performance. Nice little rest now before we take on Real in the 2nd leg.

Yossi just proved why he shouldn't have been left out of the team on Saturday.  Best player on the pitch and first name on my teamsheet going by recent games.

After going 1-0 up it was easy peasy...kept the ball well, good movement and created chances.  Started of the season with a win against Sunderland, lets kickstart the season again with this win against them
