      Mar 31, 2009 07:38:51 pm
Forgive me for I'm a total noob when it comes down to these sort of things but I want to be able to play PSX and downloaded PSP games on my PSP, I've updated my PSP to the version 5.03 and I know I need to download some sort emulator onto it to play the games but I don't know what to download or where to put them! Any chance people could help please?

I've got it on my PSP.

You just whack the PSOne game file in a a folder in the GAME folder don't you.  I take it you have done the special 'nudge nudge' to your PSP first?

      ie PS3 > GAME > TOMBRAIDER > Eboot.pbp & keys.bin game files

Don't remember needing any special battery when I did mine.

why arnt i surprised, maybe you have a very old one

The method of changing firmware, is

put it into test mode (by inserting a pandora battery)
use a bootable memory stick (you will need to format then make the stick bootable)
then flash the psp with the correct firmware....presto.
