Reina won it in 05/06, 06/07 and 07/08. And if he keeps a clean sheet against Spurs will equal Van Der Sar's record for this season, providing the Dutchman doesn't keep a clean sheet against Hull.
So yes he's still in contention but personally I'd say it's safer to bet on United's keeper for the Golden Gloves. Lets not forget Spurs are still going for that seventh spot and no doubt Robbie Keane will wanna prove a point at Anfield on Sunday. This is all assuming Pepe plays at the weekend, which with not a great deal riding on the game from our point of view, it isn't certain he will.
As for what happens if they both end up with the same amount of clean sheets, I'm not too sure what would happen. (this wasn't one of the questions on the quiz otherwise I would know as the quiz was rigged
). It might go the same way as the Charity Shield used to when that used to be shared. Six months at one club, six months at the other.
